KLM Royal Dutch Airlines was founded on 7 October, 1919 to serve the Netherlands and its colonies. KLM is today the oldest airline still operating under its original name. KLM has been part of the AIR FRANCE KLM group since the merger in 2004.
KLM serves just over 150 destinations from Amsterdam Airpot Schiphol, with a route network covering North and South America, Europe, Africa, India and the Middle & Far East.
The airline is a member of the SKYTEAM alliance which serves over 900 airports in almost 170 countries through its member and associate airlines.
